Tony Brooks-James (born December 6, 1994) is an American football running back for the Birmingham Stallions (2022), Birmingham Stallions of the United States Football League (2022), United States Football League (USFL). He played college football at the Oregon Ducks football, University of Oregon. College career Brooks-James played four seasons for the Oregon Ducks football, Oregon Ducks. He finished his collegiate career with 3,302 all-purpose yards (1,863 rushing, 392 receiving and 1,047 on kick returns) and 21 total touchdowns (18 rushing, two receiving and one kick return). Professional career Atlanta Falcons Brooks-James was brought in for a rookie mini camp invite, he impressed and signed with the Atlanta Falcons as an undrafted free agent on May 11, 2019. A running back (RB) is a member of the offensive backfield in gridiron football. 2022 USFL Draft
The 2022 USFL Draft, also known as the 2022 USFL Player Selection Meeting, was the player selection process to fill the rosters of the eight teams for the 2022 USFL season. The draft was held on February 22–23, 2022, with results released through the USFL's social media channels. Structure The USFL player allocation process will be held in multiple phases, separated by position groups. The league will use a "snake" format in each phase, in which the draft order reversed with each round. The draft order will be shuffled for each phase as predetermined through lotteries.
