Tony Lydell "Alligator" Bennett (born July 1, 1967) is a former professional American football linebacker. He was a first-round draft choice of the Green Bay Packers out of the University of Mississippi in the 1990 NFL Draft. He finished his professional career with the Indianapolis Colts. Linebacker (LB) is a playing position in gridiron football. Linebackers are members of the defensive team, and line up three to five yards behind the line of scrimmage and the defensive linemen. They are the "middle ground" of defenders, playing closer to the line of scrimmage than the defensive backs (secondary), but farther back than the defensive linemen. Michael Bennett (running Back)
Michael A. Bennett (born August 13, 1978) is an American former professional football player who was a running back in the National Football League (NFL). He was drafted by the Minnesota Vikings 27th overall in the 2001 NFL Draft. He played college football at Wisconsin. A Pro Bowl selection with the Vikings in 2002, Bennett was also a member of the New Orleans Saints, Kansas City Chiefs, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, San Diego Chargers, and Oakland Raiders. Early years Michael Bennett attended Milwaukee Trade and Technical High School. As a senior, Mike was ranked the top football player in the state, and was an All-State selection. The 1990 NFL draft was the procedure by which National Football League teams selected amateur college football players. It is officially known as the NFL Annual Player Selection Meeting. Alligator is a town in Bolivar County, Mississippi, United States. Per the 2020 Census, the population was 116. In 2009, Tommie "Tomaso" Brown was elected Alligator's first black mayor.
