Toni Lysen
Toni Lysen (born ) is an American teacher and former politician in the state of Washington. She represented the 34th district in the Washington House of Representatives between 2002 and 2003. Early life Lysen was born in 1946 or 1947. She attended Seattle University. She worked as a teacher and a small-claims court facilitator. She was married to King Lysen, a Democratic representative in the Washington state legislature, and the couple had six children. Her husband challenged Henry M. Jackson in the 1982 United States Senate election in Washington as an independent and, as a result, U.S. representative Mike Lowry was pressured not to hire Lysen on his staff. He refused and she served as an aide to him and, later, to U.S. representative Jim McDermott. Mike Lowry
Michael Edward Lowry (March 8, 1939 – May 1, 2017) was an American politician who served as the 20th governor of Washington from 1993 to 1997. His political career ended abruptly following a sexual misconduct allegation made against him by his deputy press secretary, Susanne Albright. A member of the Democratic Party, Lowry served as a United States Representative from Washington's 7th congressional district from 1979 to 1989. Sharon Kay Nelson (born 1951) is an American politician from the state of Washington. Background Nelson is the former Chief of Staff to then King County Council Chair Dow Constantine. She has long been a leader in the fight to protect Maury Island from the expansion of a gravel mine on the island's shore. The ''Kitsap Sun'' is a daily newspaper published in Bremerton, Washington, United States. It covers general news and serves Kitsap, Jefferson, and Mason counties on the west side of Puget Sound. James Adelbert McDermott (born December 28, 1936) is an American politician and psychiatrist who was the U.S. representative for from 1989 to 2017. He is a member of the Democratic Party.
