Toney Mack
Toney Atmorer Mack (born May 3, 1967) is an American former professional basketball player. A forward from Brandon, Florida, Mack was hailed as a young Dominique Wilkins. A prolific scorer at Brandon High School, in 1985, Mack was named Florida's Mr. Basketball. Mack attended the University of Georgia but was unable to finish due to academic issues. Despite his failure to finish his collegiate career at Georgia, Mack was picked in the second round by the Philadelphia 76ers in 1989. He played for the Topeka Sizzlers The Topeka Sizzlers, originally the Kansas City Sizzlers, were a professional basketball team based in Kansas City, Missouri from 1985 to 1986 until they relocated to Topeka, Kansas where they played from 1986 to 1990. Brandon is an unincorporated community and census-designated place (CDP) in Hillsborough County, Florida, United States. It is part of the Tampa–St. Petersburg–Clearwater Metropolitan Statistical Area. The population was 114,626 at the 2020 census, up from 103,483 at the 2010 census.
