Tonenke
Tonenke ( uk, Тоненьке, ; russian: link=no, Тоненькое) is a village in Pokrovsk Raion ( district) in Donetsk Oblast of eastern Ukraine, at northwest ( NW) of the centre of Donetsk city. The War in Donbass, that started in mid-April 2014, has brought along both civilian and military casualties. One civilian was killed by shelling on 12 November 2016. One Ukrainian serviceman was killed on 31 January 2017. Ocheretyne settlement hromada () is a hromada of Ukraine, located in Pokrovsk Raion, Donetsk Oblast. Its administrative center is the town of Ocheretyne. It has an area of and a population of 21,399, as of 2020. Village

The War in Donbas, russian: Война на Донбассе was an armed conflict in the Donbas region of Ukraine, part of the broader Russo-Ukrainian War. In March 2014, immediately following the Euromaidan protest movement and subsequent Revolution of Dignity, protests by pro-Russian, anti-government separatist groups arose in the Donetsk and Luhansk oblasts of Ukraine, collectively called the Donbas. These demonstrations began around the same time as Russia's annexation of Crimea, and were part of wider pro-Russian protests across southern and eastern Ukraine. Avdiivka
Avdiivka (, , is a city of regional significance in Ukraine's Donetsk Oblast. The city is in the center of the region, just north of the city of Donetsk. The large Avdiivka Coke Plant is located in Avdiivka. The city's population is officially estimated as ; in January 2017, BBC News estimated that the population ranged between 16,000 and 22,000. As of 3 August, 2022, only 2,500 people, or 10% of the city's pre-war population, remained in Avdiivka according to Vitalii Barabash, head of the city's military–civilian administration. Orlivka ( uk, Орлівка, ) is a village in Ocheretyne settlement hromada, Pokrovsk Raion, Donetsk Oblast, Ukraine.
