Tone Norum
Tone Norum (born 18 September 1965) is a Swedish pop singer who gained popularity in the 1980s and 1990s, scoring several chart successes in Sweden. She is the younger sister of John Norum, the guitarist from the rock band Europe. Biography Tone Norum was born in Vardø, Norway, but her family moved to Sweden when she was still a baby. Her debut album, ''One of a Kind'', was released in 1986. It was written and produced by Europe vocalist Joey Tempest, featured guest appearances by Europe members John Norum, Ian Haugland and Mic Michaeli, and included hits like "Stranded" and "Can't You Stay?". Her second album, ''This Time'', featured another hit, the vocal duet " Allt som jag känner" with Tommy Nilsson, and a guest appearance by Yngwie Malmsteen on the song "Point of No Return". Her 1990 album, ''Red'', was produced by her then husband/musician/producer Max Lorentz. Norum's 1992 hit, "Don't Turn Around", was a cover of the Tina Turner song. Vardø
( fi, Vuoreija, fkv, Vuorea, se, Várggát) is a municipality in Troms og Finnmark county in the extreme northeastern part of Norway. Vardø is the easternmost town in Norway, more to the east than Saint Petersburg or Istanbul. The administrative centre of the municipality is the town of Vardø. "Allt som jag känner" is a vocal duet written by songwriter trio Norell Oson Bard, and recorded by Tone Norum & Tommy Nilsson, who released it as a single in 1987. It peaked atop the Swedish Singles Chart between 17 February–13 April 1988, and also charted at Svensktoppen between 31 January–4 December 1988, peaking at number one. The song was also recorded in English, as "My Summer With You", which became the third greatest Trackslistan Tracks, or Trackslistan, was a top 20 song list and a program of the Swedish Radio channel SR P3. An album is a collection of audio recordings issued on compact disc (CD), vinyl, audio tape, or another medium such as digital distribution. Tina Turner (born Anna Mae Bullock; November 26, 1939) is an American-born Swiss retired singer and actress. "Don't Turn Around" is a popular song written by Albert Hammond and Diane Warren. It was originally recorded by Tina Turner as the B-side to the single " Typical Male" in 1986. It has since been included on the rarities disc of the 1994 compilation '' The Collected Recordings – Sixties to Nineties'', as well as featuring in the ''Tina'' musical since 2018. It has been covered by numerous artists, most notably by Luther Ingram in 1987, Aswad in 1988, Bonnie Tyler in 1988, Eyes in 1990, Neil Diamond in 1991, Ace of Base in 1993, and Albert Hammond in 2010. Aswad version British reggae group Aswad heard Luther Ingram's version and released a cover version on February 10, 1988. Yngwie Johan Malmsteen ( ; born Lars Johan Yngve Lannerbäck, 30 June 1963) is a Swedish guitarist. He first became known in the 1980s for his neoclassical playing style in heavy metal, and has released 22 studio albums in a career spanning over 40 years. Gunnar Mathias "Mic" Michaeli (born 11 November 1962) is a Swedish musician best known as the keyboardist for the rock band Europe. Like many of the other Europe members he grew up in Stockholm suburb Upplands Väsby. He joined the band for their ''Wings of Tomorrow'' tour in 1984, taking vocalist Joey Tempest's place behind the keyboards. Career Michaeli has co-written several Europe songs; his most famous song is the hit ballad "Carrie" from the album '' The Final Countdown''.
