Tomás Guzmán
Tomás Andrés Guzmán Gaytán, known as Tomás Guzmán, (born 7 March 1982 in Asunción) is a retired Paraguayan football striker. Club career Guzmán joined the Juventus youth system, one of the best youth systems in the world, from Presidente Hayes. In March 2002 he was handed a start against Arsenal in the UEFA Champions League due to Juventus rotating their squad having already qualified for the next round. Juventus won 1–0. He was then loaned out in 2002 to gain experience at Ternana. For the 2003–04 season, he was again loaned out, but this time to Messina. After Messina were promoted to Serie A, Juventus opted to loan him out to Serie B side Crotone. Asunción (, , , Guarani: Paraguay) is the capital and the largest city of Paraguay. Crotone
Crotone (, ; nap, label= Crotonese, Cutrone or ) is a city and ''comune'' in Calabria, Italy. Founded as the Achaean colony of Kroton ( grc, Κρότων or ; la, Crotona) in Magna Graecia, it was known as Cotrone from the Middle Ages until 1928, when its name was changed to the current one. 2007–08 Serie B
The 2007–08 Serie B regular season is the seventy-sixth since its establishment. It started on August 25, 2007, and ended with the promotion playoff final on June 15, 2008. At the end of the year, three teams were promoted to Serie A, the first two via direct promotion (league champions, Chievo Verona, and Bologna), and the third team after two rounds of playoffs (Lecce). Four teams were relegated to Serie C1. The bottom three were relegated directly (Cesena, Spezia and Ravenna), as was the fourth-to-last team (Avellino), since they finished 9 points back of the fifth-to-last, Treviso, denying them a chance at a survival "relegation-playoff". The 2006–07 Serie B season is the 75th season since its establishment in 1929. It started on 9 September 2006 and ended on 10 June 2007. The 22 clubs in Serie B each played 42 matches during the regular season. The 2006–07 season marked the first Serie B appearance for two clubs, Frosinone Calcio, Frosinone and then 27-time Italian champions Juventus F.C., Juventus, whose involvement in the league was a direct result of the ''Calciopoli'' rulings and not competition in the previous Serie A season. Sebastian Giovinco (; born 26 January 1987) is an Italian former professional footballer who played as a forward. David Sergio Trezeguet (born 15 October 1977) is a French former professional footballer who played as a striker. Trezeguet began his career in Argentina with Club Atlético Platense at the age of eight, progressing through their youth system to their first team, where he made his debut in the Primera División in 1994. ''Calciopoli'' () was a sports scandal in Italy's top professional association football league Serie A and to a lesser extent Serie B.
