Tomorrica (river)
The Tomorrica is a river in southeastern Albania. It is a left tributary of Devoll, which feeds the Adriatic Sea in southeastern Albania. The river, 42 kilometers long, originates in the Ostrovicë Mountains, on the southern slopes of Mount Mieta (Maja e Mietës, 2024 m), at 1800 meters above sea level, near the village Gjogovicë. Its catchment area is 376 km2, collecting the waters of the Tomorr Mountains in the west and the Ostrovicë in the east. Significant left tributaries are only found on the lower reaches of the river: Velica, Leshnica, Kushova and Bregas. Ostrovicë or Mali i Ostrovicës is a mountain range located in the south-eastern part of Albania. Ostrovicë contains one long ridge containing many peaks above , the highest reaching the height of above sea level. The ridge of Ostrovicë is covered in grasslands and at the summits the ridge gets very rocky. Location Ostrovicë's location is in south-eastern Albania, between the rivers Osum and Devoll which are confluences of the Seman river which enters the Adriatic north of the city of Vlorë. Devoll (river)
Devoll ( sq, Devoll; sq-definite, Devolli) is a river in southern Albania. It is one of the source rivers of Seman. It is long and its drainage basin is . Its average discharge is . Its source is in the southwestern corner of the Devoll municipality, close to the Greek border. It flows initially northeast, through Miras, then north through Bilisht, and northwest through Progër, Pojan (in the northern ''Korçë Plain'' which was marshy until after the World War II), Maliq, Moglicë, Kodovjat, Gramsh, where it is stowed in a big lake and Gostimë, where it turns south. It joins the Osum near Kuçovë, to form the Seman. The Seman opens into a small delta south of the Karavasta lagoon in the Adriatic sea. Gramsh, Elbasan
Gramsh ( sq-definite, Gramshi) is a town and a municipality in Elbasan County, central Albania. The municipality was formed at the 2015 local government reform by the merger of the former municipalities Gramsh, Kodovjat, Kukur, Kushovë, Lenie, Pishaj, Poroçan, Skënderbegas, Sult and Tunjë, that became municipal units. The seat of the municipality is the town Gramsh. The total population is 24,231 (2011 census), in a total area of 739.75 km2. The population of the former municipality at the 2011 census was 8,440. The Adriatic Sea () is a body of water separating the Italian Peninsula from the Balkan Peninsula. Tomorr
Tomorr is a mountain range in the region of Berat and Skrapar, in Albania. It reaches an elevation of above sea level at the Çuka e Partizanit, which is the highest peak in central Albania. Mount Tomorr is one of Albania's biggest water-collecting areas. Tomorr is situated within the Tomorr National Park, which is noted for its diverse species of deciduous and coniferous trees and a great variety of flora. Many endangered species are free to roam and live in this area such as bears (Ursus arctos), wolf (Canis lupus), and birds of prey. Tomorr is a holy mountain for Albanians, and it is a site where annual pilgrimages take place during the second half of August.
