Tomo Vladimirski
Tomo Vladimirski ( mk, Томо Владамирски; 1904–1971) was a Macedonian painter, considered to be one of the founders of Macedonian painting. Career Artist during the War period were limited in their creativity due to necessary condition for artistic creation; therefore, the number of paintings they contributed were relatively small in quantity. Vladimirski, along with Vasilie Popovich – Cico, Dimo Todorovski, Nikola Martinoski, Borko Lazesk, are who were affected by conditions of the time. In addition to being a painter, he worked with Nikola MartinoskiIn and Vasilije Cico Popovic to create a number of stage designs. Macedonians ( mk, Македонци, Makedonci) are a nation and a South Slavs, South Slavic ethnic group native to the region of Macedonia (region), Macedonia in Southeast Europe. Dimo Todorovski
Dimo Todorovski (Macedonian: Димо Тодоровски; 1910 in Thessaloniki – 1983 in Skopje), was a prominent Macedonian artist and sculptor. Education and career Two years after his birth, his family returned to his hometown of Prilep, then in Ottoman Empire. In 1917, his father died, and from 1920 to 1929 he resided in an Yugoslav Home for War Orphans in Bitola. In 1929–1935, he attended the art school in Belgrade. From 1945 to 1979, he contributed to the formation of an art school in Skopje and became one of the first professors, a position from which Todorovski retired in 1979. He was also a founding member of the art gallery in Skopje in 1949. In 1969 he was elected a corresponding member of the Macedonian Academy of Sciences and Arts. Nikola Martinoski
Nikola Martinoski (18 August 1903 – 7 February 1973), sometimes spelled Martinovski ( mk, Никола Мартиноски), was a Yugoslav Aromanian painter. He is considered as a founder of contemporary Macedonian art. Martinoski is best known for his painting titled '' Mother with Child'', which, although first created in the 1930s, was not completed until the 1960s. He is also known as "The Doctor" for the many paintings he donated to modern art. Early life Martinoski was born Nikolache Martin in 1903 to an Aromanian family in Kruševo (at the time part of the Ottoman Empire). He developed an interest in painting at a young age and attended art classes in the workshop of Dimitar Andonov-Papradinski, an icon painter in Skopje. Prior to 1921, he was constantly on the move.
