Tommy Walsh (hurler, Born 1998)
Thomas Walsh (born 28 February 1998) is an Irish hurler who plays for Kilkenny Intermediate Championship club Tullaroan and at inter-county level with the Kilkenny senior hurling team. He usually lines out as a left corner-back. Playing career Tullaroan Walsh joined the Tullaroan club at a young age and played in all grades at juvenile and underage levels before joining the club's top adult team. Kilkenny Minor and under-21 Walsh first lined out for Kilkenny as a member of the minor team during the 2014 Leinster Championship. He made his first appearance at right corner-back in a 2-08 to 0-03 defeat by Dublin on 26 April 2014. Walsh missed the subsequent Leinster final defeat of Dublin, but was restored to the starting fifteen for the All-Ireland final against Limerick on 7 September. Tullaroan
Tullaroan () is a village in the western part of County Kilkenny in the Slieveardagh Hills near the County Tipperary, Tipperary border. Tullaroan is also the name of the local civil parish. The Leinster GAA Hurling All-Ireland Under-20 Championship known simply as the Leinster Under-20 Championship, is an annual inter-county hurling competition organised by the Leinster Council of the Gaelic Athletic Association (GAA). It is the highest inter-county hurling competition for male players between the ages of 17 and 20 in the province of Leinster. 2021 All-Ireland Senior Hurling Championship
The 2021 All-Ireland Senior Hurling Championship was the 134th staging of the All-Ireland Senior Hurling Championship, the Gaelic Athletic Association's premier inter-county hurling tournament, since its establishment in 1887. The championship began on 26 June and ended on 22 August 2021. Antrim, having won the 2020 Joe McDonagh Cup, returned to the Leinster Championship for the first time since the 2015 competition. Limerick entered the championship as the defending champions. The All-Ireland final was played on 22 August 2021 at Croke Park in Dublin, between Limerick and Cork, in what was their first ever meeting in a final. 2020 All-Ireland Senior Hurling Championship
The 2020 All-Ireland Senior Hurling Championship was the 133rd staging of the All-Ireland Senior Hurling Championship, the Gaelic Athletic Association's premier inter-county hurling tournament, since its establishment in 1887. The 2020 fixtures were announced in October 2019. Games were initially scheduled to begin on 9 May 2020. National Hurling League
The National Hurling League is an annual Inter county, inter-county hurling competition featuring teams from Ireland and England. Founded in 1925 by the Gaelic Athletic Association, it operates on a system of promotion and relegation within the league system. The league has 35 teams divided into six divisions, with either five or six teams in each division. Promotion and relegation between these divisions is a central feature of the league. Although primarily a competition for Irish teams, teams from England – currently Lancashire GAA, Lancashire, London GAA, London and Warwickshire GAA, Warwickshire – also take part, while in the past New York GAA, New York also fielded a team for the latter stages of the league. Pádraig Walsh (born 12 March 1992) is an Irish hurler who plays for Kilkenny Senior Championship club Tullaroan and previously at inter-county level with the Kilkenny senior hurling team. He usually lines out as a centre back Playing career St. Kieran's College Walsh first came to prominence as a hurler with St. Kieran's College in Kilkenny. He played in every grade of hurling before eventually joining the college's senior hurling team. On 3 March 2010, he lined out at left wing-forward when St. Kieran's College faced Kilkenny CBS in the Leinster final. Walsh scored a 44th-minute goal to secure a 2–14 to 1–10 victory. Born in Tullaroan, County Kilkenny, Walsh first played competitive hurling during his schooling at St Kieran's College. He arrived on the inter-county scene at the age of seventeen when he first linked up with the Kilkenny minor team, before later joining the under-21 side. He joined the senior panel during the 2002 championship. Walsh became a regular member of the starting fifteen the following year, and won nine All-Ireland medals (two as a non-playing substitute), ten Leinster medals and seven National League medals. Paddy Grace
Patrick Grace (3 August 1917 – 21 July 1984) was an Irish hurler who played as a left corner-back for the Kilkenny senior team. Born in Palmerstown, County Kilkenny, Grace first played competitive hurling during his schooling at CBS Kilkenny. He arrived on the inter-county scene at the age of fifteen when he first linked up with the Kilkenny minor team. He joined the senior panel during the 1937-38 league. Grace immediately became a regular member of the starting fifteen, and won two All-Ireland medals and six Leinster medals. He was an All-Ireland runner-up on three occasions. As a member of the Leinster inter-provincial team on a number of occasions, Grace won one Railway Cup medals. 2018 Leinster Senior Hurling Championship
The 2018 Leinster Senior Hurling Championship is the 2018 installment of the annual Leinster Senior Hurling Championship organised by Leinster GAA. This was the first year of a new format. Galway won a second consecutive title and third ever by defeating Kilkenny in the final.
