Thomas Howard Toms (born October 15, 1951) is an American former professional baseball baseball player, player. He was a relief pitcher who played from through in Major League Baseball. Listed at , , Toms batted and threw right-handed. He was born in Charlottesville, Virginia, and attended East Carolina University. Toms played with the San Francisco Giants in parts of three seasons. He posted a 0–3 record with a 5.40 earned run average and one save (sport), save in 11 relief appearances, allowing 20 run (baseball), runs (14 earned) on 33 hit (baseball), hits and nine base on balls, walks while strikeout, striking out five in 23⅓ innings pitched, innings of work. Though he never won a game at the major league level, Toms did pick up one career save.
