Bauro competed in the 1988 Summer Olympics entering the light-heavyweight, he was knocked out after 2 minutes and 20 seconds by Tongan, Sione Vaveni Taliaʻuli. 	Solomon Islands Solomon Islands is an island country consisting of six major islands and over 900 smaller islands in Oceania, to the east of Papua New Guinea and north-west of Vanuatu.
