Tommi Satosaari
Tommi Satosaari (born February 17, 1975 in Jyväskylä, Finland) is a Finnish professional ice hockey goaltender. Satosaari played his first five years as a pro with his hometown team JYP in the SM-liiga. When the team unloaded several players after a disappointing 1999-2000 season, Satosaari made his way abroad, spending the next season with the Newcastle Jesters in the British Ice Hockey Superleague (BISL). Satosaari then returned to Finland for a season with Ässät, and in 2002-2003 he represented REV Bremerhaven in the German second league in the fall, and finished the year with Ilves. In 2003-2004 Satosaari returned to Newcastle to play for the Newcastle Vipers in the British National League before and moving to HK Olimpija Ljubljana in Slovenia for the 2004-2005 season. Jyväskylä () is a city and municipality in Finland in the western part of the Finnish Lakeland. The Fischtown Pinguins, also known as REV Bremerhaven, are a professional ice hockey team based in Bremerhaven, Germany. From 2004 to 2016 the team played at the second level of ice hockey in Germany, until the 2012–13 season the 2nd Bundesliga and, from the 2013–14 season onward the DEL2. Porin Ässät ry is a sports club based in Pori, Finland. The club's only programs are ice hockey and esports, but it used to have an association football program. The Lahti Pelicans are a Finnish professional ice hockey team playing in the Liiga. Founded in 1996, they play in the city of Lahti at Isku Arena. The team is co-owned by (among others) former National Hockey League (NHL) goaltender Pasi Nurminen and Formula One racecar driver Valtteri Bottas. History Viipurin Reipas (1891–1964) Viipurin Reipas was a sports club located in Vyborg. Mika Sinuhe Wallinheimo (born March 9, 1972 in Jyväskylä, Finland) is a Finnish politician and former professional ice hockey goaltender. As the last team he represented JYP in the SM-liiga. After his sporting career he entered politics and was elected to the Parliament of Finland as an MP for the National Coalition Party in the 2011 election and reelected in 2015 and 2019. His parents derived his name Sinuhe from the protagonist of the novel ''The Egyptian''. International play Wallinheimo was selected to the 2006 Men's World Ice Hockey Championships as the third goaltender. Wallinheimo was dropped from the roster when Antero Niittymäki joined the team, but he made his international debut in a practice game against Denmark.
