Tomeu Nadal
Bartomeu "Tomeu" Nadal Mesquida (born 8 February 1989) is a Spanish professional footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for CD Tenerife. Club career Born in Manacor, Balearic Islands, Nadal was a product of RCD Mallorca's youth system. He made his debut as a senior with the B team in 2008, spending several seasons with them in Tercera División and Segunda División B. He was also third choice for the main squad in La Liga, behind Dudu Aouate and Miguel Ángel Moyá. On 28 June 2011, Nadal signed a two-year deal with Getafe CF, being assigned to the reserves in the third division. On 13 July 2013, he joined fellow league club Gimnàstic de Tarragona. A backup to Manolo Reina, Nadal appeared sparingly during the 2013–14 season. Manacor () is a town and municipality on the island of Mallorca, part of the Spanish autonomous community of the Balearic Islands. Penalty Shoot-out (association Football)
A penalty shoot-out (officially kicks from the penalty mark) is a tie-breaking method in association football to determine which team is awarded victory in a match that cannot end in a draw, when the score is tied after the normal time as well as extra time (if used) have expired. In a penalty shoot-out, each team takes turns shooting at goal from the penalty mark, with the goal defended only by the opposing team's goalkeeper. Each team has five shots which must be taken by different kickers; the team that makes more successful kicks is declared the victor. Shoot-outs finish as soon as one team has an insurmountable lead. If scores are level after five pairs of shots, the shootout progresses into additional " sudden-death" rounds. Balls successfully kicked into the goal during a shoot-out do not count as goals for the individual kickers or the team, and are tallied separately from the goals scored during normal play (including extra time, if any). A penalty kick (commonly known as a penalty or a spot kick) is a method of restarting play in association football, in which a player is allowed to take a single shot at the goal while it is defended only by the opposing team's goalkeeper. It is awarded when an offence punishable by a direct free kick is committed by a player in their own penalty area. The shot is taken from the penalty mark, which is 11 m (12 yards) from the goal line and centred between the touch lines.
