''Tomboy'' is a 1985 American teen comedy film directed by Herb Freed and starring Betsy Russell. Plot The film concerns the life of Tomasina "Tommy" Boyd (Betsy Russell) who works as a mechanic and her hopes to become a stock car driver. When she falls for a visiting, more famous stock car racer, who offends her with his chauvinistic remarks, a car race between the lovers has commenced. Marilyn Jacobs Tenser (6 May 1931 – December 2020) was an American film producer known for her work on independent films of the 1970s through the early 2000s. Life and career Jacobs Tenser was the daughter of Crown International Pictures founder, Newton P. Jacobs, and she continued to work for the company as of 2018. She was married to Mark Tenser until his death in 2018. She died after a short illness in California in December 2020, at the age of 89. The Beach Girls
''The Beach Girls'' is a 1982 American sex comedy film directed by Pat Townsend. It stars Jeana Tomasino, Val Kline and Debra Blee. Plot Two college girls, Ducky and Ginger, meet their naive friend, Sarah, at a Southern California beach house. The house belongs to Sarah's uncle and to their luck has allowed them to use his house for the summer while he is gone. Soon after Ducky and Ginger arrive, the two plan the first of many wild parties, but not without some resistance from Sarah. The two continue the plans for more partying including inviting assorted misfits, delivery persons, and people just passing by.
