Tomas Micael Domene (born 4 September 1997) is an Argentine field hockey player who plays as a forward for Belgian Hockey League club Orée and the Argentina national team. Club career Domene played club hockey in Argentina for Córdoba until 2017, when he transferred to Belgium to play for Orée. International career Junior national team Domene made his debut for the junior national team at the Pan American Junior Championship in Toronto, Canada. At the tournament he scored 16 goals, helping Argentina to a gold medal and qualification to the Junior World Cup. Domene again represented Argentina at the Junior World Cup in Lucknow, India, where the team finished 5th. Senior national team Domene debuted for the senior national team in 2018, in a test series against Malaysia, in Buenos Aires. 2016 Men's Hockey Junior World Cup
The 2016 Men's Hockey Junior World Cup was the 11th edition of the Hockey Junior World Cup for men, an international field hockey tournament. It was held in Lucknow, India from 8–18 December 2016. A total of sixteen teams competed for the title. Host nation India won the tournament for the second time after defeating Belgium 2–1 in the final. Germany won the third-place match by defeating Australia 3–0. Qualification Each continental federation got a number of quotas depending on the FIH World Rankings for teams qualified through their junior continental championships. The 2023 Men's FIH Hockey World Cup will be the 15th edition of the Men's FIH Hockey World Cup, the quadrennial world championship for men's national field hockey teams organized by the International Hockey Federation. The Men's FIH Hockey World Cup is an international field hockey competition organised by the International Hockey Federation (FIH). The tournament was started in 1971. It is held every four years, bridging the four years between the Summer Olympics. Pakistan is the most successful team, having won the tournament four times. The Netherlands and Australia have each won three titles, and Germany has won two titles. Belgium and India have both won the tournament once. The 2018 tournament was held in Bhubaneswar, India from 28 November to 16 December.
