Tom Sparrow (Welsh Footballer)
Thomas Lance Sparrow (born 6 December 2002) is a Welsh professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Scottish Premiership club Motherwell and the Wales under-21 national team. Club career Stoke City Sparrow joined Stoke City from Wolverhampton Wanderers as a 14-year old. In October 2021 Sparrow joined National League North side AFC Telford United on a one-month youth loan. Sparrow made his professional debut on 7 May 2022 in a 1–1 draw against Coventry City. On 7 January 2023, Sparrow joined Scottish Championship side Hamilton Academical on loan for the remainder of the 2022–23 season, making his debut the same day in a 1–0 defeat away at Ayr United. He helped Hamilton win the Scottish Challenge Cup after they beat Raith Rovers 1–0 in the final. Sparrow made 17 appearances for Accies as they suffered relegation after losing on penalties to Airdrieonians in the playoffs. Buckley, Flintshire
Buckley ( cy, Bwcle ) is a town and community in Flintshire, north-east Wales, from the county town of Mold and contiguous with the villages of Ewloe, Alltami and Mynydd Isa. It is on the A549 road, with the larger A55 road passing nearby. Buckley is the second-largest town in Flintshire in terms of population. At the 2011 Census, its community had a population of 15,665. FA Trophy
The Football Association Challenge Trophy, commonly known as the FA Trophy, is a men's football knockout cup competition run by and named after the English Football Association and competed for primarily by semi-professional teams. The competition was instigated in 1969 to cater to those non-league clubs that paid their players and were therefore not eligible to enter the FA Amateur Cup. Eligibility rules have changed over time, but from 2008 onwards the competition has been open to clubs playing in Steps 1–4 of the National League System, equivalent to tiers 5–8 of the overall English football league system. The 2021–22 National League season, known as the Vanarama National League for sponsorship reasons, was the seventh season as English football's National League, the nineteenth season consisting of three divisions, and the forty-third season overall. Due to the curtailment of the preceding season for North and South and lower levels of competition in the English football pyramid, promotion and relegation between levels 5 and 6, and between level 6 and lower levels were suspended. These, combined with the folding of Macclesfield Town in 2020–21 and the knock-on effects of Bury's collapse in 2019–20, meant that for the 2021–22 season the three divisions had the irregular complement of 23, 22 and 21 teams, respectively. EFL Championship
The English Football League Championship (often referred to as the Championship for short or the Sky Bet Championship for sponsorship purposes) is the highest division of the English Football League (EFL) and second-highest overall in the English football league system, after the Premier League. The league is contested by 24 clubs. Airdrieonians Football Club is a Scottish professional football team in Airdrie, North Lanarkshire, who are members of the Scottish Professional Football League (SPFL) and play in Scottish League One.
