Tom Purrington
Tom Purrington (born 24 October 2000) is an English professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Plymouth Parkway. Career Purrington made his professional debut on 13 November 2018 in an EFL Trophy match between Argyle and EFL League Two side Newport County, where he came on as an 81st-minute substitute, replacing Stuart O'Keefe. Newport won the game 2–0. On 30 August 2019 Purrington, alongside fellow midfielder Cameron Sangster, joined Dorchester Town of the Southern League Premier South on loan until January 2020. On 8th September 2020, it was announced that Purrington had signed for Bromley after impressing on trial. In June 2021, Purrington returned to Dorchester Town, having spent time with the club having spent time with the club on loan two years prior. Exeter
Exeter () is a city in Devon, South West England. It is situated on the River Exe, approximately northeast of Plymouth and southwest of Bristol. Ben Purrington (born 20 May 1996) is an English professional footballer who plays as a left back for Ross County. Career Plymouth Argyle Purrington was born in Exeter, Devon. He joined the Plymouth Argyle youth academy in September 2005 when he was nine. He signed his first professional contract in May 2013. Seven months later, Purrington made his first-team debut in a League Two match against Oxford United, and scored his first senior goal in his fourth match; an FA Cup tie with Port Vale. FA Trophy
The Football Association Challenge Trophy, commonly known as the FA Trophy, is a men's football knockout cup competition run by and named after the English Football Association and competed for primarily by semi-professional teams. The competition was instigated in 1969 to cater to those non-league clubs that paid their players and were therefore not eligible to enter the FA Amateur Cup. Eligibility rules have changed over time, but from 2008 onwards the competition has been open to clubs playing in Steps 1–4 of the National League System, equivalent to tiers 5–8 of the overall English football league system. The 2020–21 National League season, known as the Vanarama National League for sponsorship reasons, is the sixth season under English football's new title of the National League, the eighteenth season consisting of three divisions, and the forty-second season overall.
