Thomas Brian Price, known as Tom Price (born 1945), is a Texas lawyer who served as a judge of the Texas Court of Criminal Appeals from 1996 to 2015. Born in Des Moines, Iowa, Price came to Texas as a child, graduated from Highland Park High School in University Park, Texas, and served in the United States Marine Corps early in the Vietnam War. He received his undergraduate degree from East Texas State University, and his Juris Doctor The Juris Doctor (J.D. or JD), also known as Doctor of Jurisprudence (J.D., JD, D.Jur., or DJur), is a graduate-entry professional degree in law and one of several Doctor of Law degrees. Des Moines () is the capital and the most populous city in the U.S. state of Iowa. It is also the county seat of Polk County. A small part of the city extends into Warren County.
