Thomas David Parry was a Welsh international footballer. His brother Maurice was also a footballer, and they represented Wales together on four occasions. Oswestry Town F
Oswestry ( ; ) is a market town, civil parish and historic railway town in Shropshire, England, close to the Welsh border. It is at the junction of the A5, A483 and A495 roads. The town was the administrative headquarters of the Borough of Oswestry until that was abolished in 2009. Oswestry is the third-largest town in Shropshire, following Telford and Shrewsbury. At the 2011 Census, the population was 17,105. The town is five miles (8 km) from the Welsh border and has a mixed English and Welsh heritage. Maurice Parry
Maurice Parry (7 November 1877 – 24 March 1935) was a Welsh international footballer who played for Liverpool in the early 20th century, helping them to two Football League Championships. Playing career Born in Trefonen, Oswestry, Parry played for Newtown, Long Eaton Rangers, Leicester Fosse (who became Leicester City in 1919), Loughborough and the short-lived Brighton United before being signed by Liverpool manager Tom Watson in March 1900 making his debut in a Football League Division One match on 13 October the same year, a game which the Reds won 2-1 against Bolton at Anfield, he had to wait until the April fool's day 1904 before he scored his first goal, it came in the Merseyside derby against Everton a game that saw the Reds slump to a 5-2 defeat. Frank Parry
Frank Thomas Parry (14 June 1898 – 13 March 1973) was an English professional association football, footballer who played as an outside forward. Born in Aigburth, Liverpool, he began his playing career with Everton F.C., Everton and made 12 league appearances for the club, making his debut in the 1–2 defeat to Manchester City F.C., Manchester City on 26 December 1922. During his time at Goodison Park, he was never able to replace Sam Chedgzoy as the club's first choice right-winger, and in June 1926 he joined Football League Second Division side Grimsby Town F.C., Grimsby Town. However, despite being described as "a skilful and polished winger", Parry again struggled to break into the first team and played just one league match in the 1926–27 season.
