Tom Marshall (born 25 February 1988) is a British artist, model maker and image editor known for his colourisations of historical black and white photographs, often working under the name ''PhotograFix''. Early life Marshall was born in Leicester, England and grew up in Rutland and Melton Mowbray, Leicestershire. He studied Media Production at Brooksby Melton College and the University of Lincoln. Work Marshall's creative process involves adding colour to black and white photographs using Photoshop. For images where the colors aren't known or for historical photographs he relies on research for accuracy and his best judgement. In a 2016 BBC interview, Marshall explained his motive behind photo colourisation. John Thomas Marshall (born January 6, 1931) is an American former basketball player and coach. He graduated from Mount Juliet High School in Mt. Juliet, Tennessee. He was a star at Western Kentucky University in the 1950s, where he was a two-time All-American. His number 41 is one of only six retired at Western Kentucky. He was named to the OVC Half-Century Team and the OVC 40th Anniversary team. A 6'4" forward, he was drafted by the Rochester Royals with the seventh pick of the 1954 NBA draft. After a promising rookie season, he was drafted into the Army and missed the 1955–56 season. In a four-year NBA career, he played for the Royals (in both Rochester and Cincinnati), as well as for the Detroit Pistons. In his final year as a player (1958–59) he served as a player-coach; then coached the Cincinnati Royals for one additional season (1959–60) after retiring from playing. Tom Marshall (October 9, 1921 – October 1, 1993) was an international Bible teacher who authored a number of books on counselling and healing, best known for his work entitled ''Understanding Leadership''. Marshall was born in Ayrshire Scotland. His parents emigrated to New Zealand in 1925, settling in Moera, near Petone, Wellington. He was educated at Randwick School (Moera) and Hutt Valley High School. After serving as a navigator in the Fleet Air Arm during World War II, he married Jenny Burne-Jones in Bellshill, Glasgow in 1945 and they settled in Wellington. He graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Victoria University of Wellington. He worked initially in the New Zealand Treasury and later in advertising, magazine publishing, teaching and management consultancy. He and his wife were foundation members of the Wainuiomata Baptist Church. Thomas Wendell Marshall, QC, MHA (born October 26, 1946) is a Canadian lawyer and politician. He was the 11th premier of Newfoundland and Labrador, having served in this capacity from January 24, 2014 to September 26, 2014. Marshall represented the district of Humber East in the House of Assembly for the Progressive Conservative Party from 2003 until 2014. He had been a senior minister in the cabinets of Danny Williams and Kathy Dunderdale, having served in the portfolios of Minister of Finance and President of Treasury Board, Attorney General, Minister of Natural Resources, Minister of Justice and Minister of Intergovernmental Affairs. Tom Marshall is an American lyricist, keyboardist and singer-songwriter best known for his association with Trey Anastasio and the rock band Phish. He has been the primary external lyricist for Phish during their career (1983–2004, 2009–present), with songwriting credits for more than 95 originals. In addition to his songwriting work, Marshall also fronts the rock band Amfibian and hosts the Phish podcast ''Under the Scales''.
