Tom Jackson Jr.
Tom Jackson Jr. (born December 18, 1959) is an American academic who is president of California Polytechnic University Humboldt, where he started in fall 2019. He is best known for overseeing the university's transition to a polytechnic. He was previously president of Black Hills State University in Spearfish, South Dakota, vice president for student affairs at the University of Louisville in Louisville, Kentucky, and president of the American College Personnel Association (ACPA). Early life and education Jackson was born December 18, 1959, in Seattle, Washington. Shippensburg is a borough in Cumberland and Franklin counties in the U.S. Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
