Tom J. Shea
Tom J. Shea (born July 14, 1950) was an American businessman and politician. Shea was born in Owatonna, Minnesota and graduated from Marian Catholic High School in Owatonna. He went to the University of Minnesota and to Minnesota State University, Mankato. He lived in Owatonna, Minnesota with his wife and family and worked for the Shea Company, Inc. as vice-present and general manager. Shea served in the Minnesota House of Representatives from 1981 to 1984 and was a Democrat. He then served on the Steele County Commission from 1991 to 2010 and then served as Steele County administrator in 2011. Shea was also involved with the Steele County Agricultural Society. Owatonna () is a city in Steele County, Minnesota, United States. The population was 25,599 at the 2010 census. It is the county seat of Steele County. Owatonna is home to the Steele County Fairgrounds, which hosts the Steele County Free Fair in August. Interstate 35 and U.S. Highways 14, and 218 are three of the main routes in the city. Richard Patrick Fitzgerald (September 14, 1829 – November 20, 1892) was an American politician, farmer, and businessman who served in the Minnesota House of Representatives from 1875 to 1876, representing the 5th legislative district of Minnesota in the 17th Minnesota Legislature. Early life Fitzgerald was born in County Tipperary in Ireland on September 14, 1829. He emigrated to the United States, settling in Minnesota in 1857.
