Tom Goss (American Football)
Thomas A. Goss (born July 6, 1946) is a former American football player and college athletics administrator. He served as the athletic director at the University of Michigan from 1997 to 2000. Goss was born in Knoxville, Tennessee, in 1946. He attended Austin High School in Knoxville. In 1964, he enrolled at the University of Michigan. Goss was initiated into Kappa Alpha Psi fraternity - Sigma chapter in 1966. He played for the Michigan Wolverines football team as a defensive lineman from 1965 to 1968. He was selected as a first-team All-Big Ten Conference defensive tackle in 1968. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in physical education in 1968. From 1969 to 1997, Goss was employed in business with various companies, including Procter & Gamble, R. J. Reynolds Industries, Del Monte Foods, Faygo, National Beverage, and PIA Merchandising. Steve Fisher (American Basketball Coach)
Stephen Louis Fisher (born March 24, 1945) is an American former basketball coach. Fisher served as the head coach for the Michigan Wolverines, with whom he won the national championship in 1989, and was an assistant at Michigan, Western Michigan University, and the Sacramento Kings of the National Basketball Association. From 1999 to 2017, Fisher was head coach for the San Diego State Aztecs. Fisher attended Illinois State University, where he helped lead the Redbirds to the Final Four of the 1967 NCAA College Division basketball tournament. The University of Michigan basketball scandal, or the Ed Martin scandal, concerned National Collegiate Athletics Association (NCAA) rules violations resulting from the relationship between the University of Michigan (or Michigan), its men's basketball program, and booster Eddie L. The Michigan Wolverines football team represents the University of Michigan in college football at the NCAA Division I Football Bowl Subdivision level. Michigan has the most all-time wins in college football history.
