Thomas Christopher Cahill (born 21 November 1986) is an English footballer who plays in Australia for National Premier Leagues Victoria side Heidelberg United FC. Career Early career Born in Leyland, Lancashire Cahill attended St Mary's High School in Leyland and Runshaw College, where he was a member of their Football Academy. He played in the youth team of West Lancashire Football League side Euxton Villa for several years. In July 2006 he signed for Northern Premier League side Matlock Town while studying for a law degree at Sheffield University. In the 2006–07 season he scored the winning goal against Conference South side Histon in the second qualifying round of the FA Cup. Rotherham United Cahill was set to move to the United States to start a scholarship. However, after he impressed on trial, he instead signed a two-year deal with Rotherham United at the start of the 2007–08 season . Whittlesea Ranges is a professional soccer club based in the suburbs of Epping and Lalor, Victoria, Australia. All home games are played at Epping Stadium. Formed in 1971, the club currently competes in the Victorian State League 1 North-West after were Relegated from NPL Victoria 3 competition. Recent History In 2011, coached by Dean Fak, Whittlesea Ranges were promoted from the State League Division Two North-West, beating Box Hill United and Langwarrin in the play-off fixtures after finishing runners up to Werribee City in the league. Ranges appointed Zoran Markovski as the coach for the 2012 State League One season. He was replaced by fellow former Melbourne Knights National Soccer League player Vinko Buljubasic after 13 rounds. Mansfield is a market town and the administrative centre of Mansfield District in Nottinghamshire, England. It is the largest town in the wider Mansfield Urban Area (followed by Sutton-in-Ashfield). Club football European competitions In October 2007, Arsenal equalled the UEFA Champions League record victory with a 7–0 win over Slavia Prague at the Emirates Stadium. The record was broken the following month when Liverpool defeated Beşiktaş 8–0 at Anfield. All four English clubs competing in the Champions League reached the quarter-finals, resulting in three all-English ties during the competition's latter stages. Liverpool eliminated Arsenal in the quarter-finals, but lost the semi-final to Chelsea, who went on to meet Manchester United in the final in Moscow. The 2006–07 FA Cup (known as The FA Cup sponsored by E.ON for sponsorship reasons) was the 126th staging of the world's oldest football knockout competition; the FA Cup. Histon is a village and civil parish in the South Cambridgeshire district, in the county of Cambridgeshire, England. It is immediately north of Cambridge – and is separated from the city – by the A14 road which runs east–west. In 2011 the parish had a population of 4655. The National League South, formerly Conference South, is one of the second divisions of the National League in England, immediately below the top division National League. Along with National League North, it is in the second level of the National League System, and is the sixth tier overall of the English football league system. The Northern Premier League is an English football league that was founded in 1968. It has four divisions: the Premier Division (which stands at level 7 of the English football league system), Division One East, Division One West and Division One Midlands (which stand at level 8). Euxton ( ) is a village and civil parish of the Borough of Chorley, in Lancashire, England.
