Tom Boere (born 24 November 1992) is a Dutch professional footballer who plays as a striker for Cambuur in the Eredivisie. Club career Early years Born in Breda, Netherlands, Tom Boere grew up in Terneuzen and began his footballing career in Ghent, Belgium, playing in the youth teams of KAA Gent as a striker, before being recruited by Ajax to join their youth team. Having served as a striker for the Jong Ajax team, Boere made his debut and only appearance for the senior side for Ajax in the 2011–12 season, in a friendly match against Go Ahead Eagles from Deventer on 10 November 2011. He scored the last goal in a 3–1 home win having come on as 70th-minute substitute for Dmitri Bulykin. Breda () is a city and municipality in the southern part of the Netherlands, located in the province of North Brabant. Hallescher FC, sometimes still called by its former popular name Chemie Halle, is a German association football club based in Halle an der Saale, Saxony-Anhalt. The club currently plays in the 3. Alexander Schmidt (born 23 October 1968) is a German former footballer and manager, who last managed Kickers Offenbach. Coaching career Schmidt started his coaching career as youth coach at FC Augsburg and later 1860 Munich. 2016–17 Eerste Divisie
The 2016–17 Eerste Divisie, known as Jupiler League for sponsorship reasons, was the sixty-first season of Eerste Divisie since its establishment in 1955. It began in August 2016 with the first matches of the season and ended in May 2017 with the finals of the promotion/relegation play-offs, also involving the 16th- and 17th-placed teams from the 2016–17 Eredivisie. The Eerste Divisie (, en, First Division) is the second-highest tier of football in the Netherlands. It is linked with the top-level Eredivisie and with the third-level Tweede Divisie via promotion/relegation systems. The Belgian Second Division (known as the Proximus League for sponsorship reasons) was the second-highest division in the Belgian football league system, one level below the Belgian Pro League. It was founded by the Royal Belgian Football Association in 1909 and folded in 2016, when it was replaced by the Belgian First Division B.
