Tom Beaton
Thomas Michael Beaton (born 28 November 1990) is an Australian cricketer who has played for Western Australia cricket team, Western Australia and the Perth Scorchers domestically. A right-handed batsman, he also played with the Melbourne Renegades for the 2014–15 Big Bash League season, 2014–15 and 2015–16 Big Bash League season, 2015–16 seasons of the Big Bash League. Cricket career As of 2009 Beaton was playing for Mount Lawley District Cricket Club, Mount Lawley in Western Australian club cricket and in August the Cricket Australia Youth Selection Panel selected him in a fourteen-man squad which played five one-day matches against a Sri Lanka side in the Northern Territory. His junior career ultimately included captaining the Australian Under-19 team in a Test match against India in 2009, and he was also a member of the Australian team that won the 2010 ICC Under-19 Cricket World Cup held in New Zealand. Mount Lawley, Western Australia
Mount Lawley is an inner northern suburb of Perth, Western Australia. The suburb is bounded by the Swan River to the east, Vincent, Harold and Pakenham Streets to the south, Central Avenue and Alexander Drive to the north, and Norfolk Street to the west. Big Bash League
The Big Bash League (known as the KFC Big Bash League for sponsorship reasons, often abbreviated to BBL or Big Bash) is an Australian professional club Twenty20 cricket league, which was established in 2011 by Cricket Australia. The Big Bash League replaced the previous competition, the KFC Twenty20 Big Bash, and features eight city-based franchises instead of the six state teams which had participated previously. The competition has been sponsored by fast food-chicken outlet KFC since its inception. Midland Guildford Cricket Club plays in the Western Australian Grade Cricket competition. Their home ground is Lilac Hill Park. History Midland Guildford Cricket Club started its association with the WACA in 1902/03 when it submitted a B-Grade team in the WACA Competition under the name Midland Junction and District Turf Cricket Club. In 1910/11 the club was admitted to the First Grade competition with a team also playing in B2-Grade. The home ground at the time was Midland Oval. The Toyota Second XI or Futures League is the Australian national second XI cricket competition.
