NaGISA (Natural Geography in Shore Areas or Natural Geography of In-Shore Areas) is an international collaborative effort aimed at inventorying, cataloguing, and monitoring biodiversity of the in-shore area. So named for the Japanese word "nagisa" ("where the land meets the sea"), it is an Apronym. NaGISA is the first project of the larger CoML effort (Census of Marine Life) to have global participation in actual field work. The actual procedures of this project involve inexpensive collection equipment (for easy universal participation). This equipment is used to photograph sampling sites, to actually take samples from the sites, and to process these samples. Seizō Fukumoto
(3 February 1943 – 1 January 2021) was a Japanese actor. Biography He started acting at age 15 in Kyoto, the capital of Japanese cinema. A specialist in film and television jidaigeki set in the Edo period, he most often played a rōnin, but in his hundreds of appearances he took nearly every role. His forte was '' kirareyaku'', the person who loses the sword fight. In addition, he appeared in modern dramas in roles such as police and yakuza. The American film ''The Last Samurai'' brought him before an international audience in the role of the Silent Samurai. Fukumoto played a lead role for the first time in the film Uzumasa Limelight. Death Fukumoto died on 1 January 2021, at his home in Kyoto, due to lung cancer. He was 77 years old. Kiyotaka Nanbara
(born 13 February 1965, in Takamatsu, Kagawa Prefecture) is a Japanese television host and comedian. He is known as the boke of the manzai duo Utchan Nanchan with Teruyoshi Uchimura. Career In 1985, while attending the Yokohama Broadcasting Technical School, Kiyotaka was in the same class as Uchimura, Tetsurō Degawa and Masato Irie. He decided to perform with Uchimura as a manzai duo and was given the name "Utchan, Nanchan" by his teacher, Keiko Utsumi. They appeared on ''The Birth of a Comedian!'' show (お笑いスター誕生!!). The next year they won the competition and received the "New Duo" award.
