Tokyo College Of Music
is a private music school and university in Tokyo, Japan. Offering a range of undergraduate, post graduate and doctoral degree programs, the college was originally named as the in Kanda, Tokyo, in 1907. History The college moved to Toshima, Tokyo in 1924 after the original campus was destroyed by the 1923 Great Kantō earthquake, Great Kantō earthquake. The college changed its name to Tokyo College of Music in 1969. A second modern campus and performance facility was opened in 2019 in Kamimeguro, Meguro, Tokyo, Meguro. Yasunori Nishiki
is a Japanese composer, best known for his work on the ''Octopath Traveler'' video game series. He formerly worked for Konami and has produced soundtracks for video games and anime. Biography Nishiki was born on July 10, 1985, in Kanagawa Prefecture. He started taking piano lessons when he was a child, but became interested in music when he became a fan of the Japanese band Spitz. After which, he bought some sheet music for their songs and began to write his own compositions on the piano. After graduating from Tokyo College of Music, he began to work as a music composer for Konami, and worked on titles such as ''Quiz Magic Academy'' series, and arranged the national anthems for ''Pro Evolution Soccer 2011'', which are also used in the further installments in the series. is a Japanese manga artist and singer. She is included in the Year 24 Group by some critics, journalists, and academics, although her inclusion has been debated due to a focus more on epic stories than the internal psychology of those mangaka. is a Japanese composer and musician known for his work on many television dramas, anime series, and movies. Biography Kanno was born in Saitama, Japan. He attended junior high school in Kawagoe before later moving to Takanezawa for university. While attending school, he was fascinated by Impressionist Music. Junichi Hirokami
is a Japanese conductor. Born in Tokyo, Hirokami studied conducting, piano, musicology, and viola at the Tokyo College of Music. He won the first Kondrashin International Conducting Competition in Amsterdam in September 1984 at age 26. One of the judges of that competition, pianist Vladimir Ashkenazy, then engaged Hirokami to conduct the NHK Symphony Orchestra on a tour of Japan with Ashkenazy in May 1985.
