Toiling Congress of Ukraine (TCU) ( uk, Трудовий конгрес України (ТКУ)) was created in 1993 and in 1996 merged into the People's Democratic Party. The party was created in September 1993 uniting several public association such as the Center "Justice", Union of entrepreneurs, Society of cooperation and others. The leader of the party was elected Anatoliy Matviyenko. Eventually it united with the Party of Democratic Revival of Ukraine Party of Democratic Revival of Ukraine (PDVU) was a political party in 1990-96 that was created as an offshoot of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union. Anatoliy Matviyenko ( uk, Анатолій Сергійович Матвієнко, March 22, 1953 – May 22, 2020) was a Ukrainian politician, founder of several political parties in the country. Matviyenko was 6 times elected to the Ukrainian parliament. Biography Matviyenko was born on March 22, 1953 in Bershad, Vinnytsia Oblast, to a working-class family. In 1975 he graduated the Lviv Agrarian Institute, Agrarian Mechanization faculty. Between 1975 and 1977 Matviyenko worked as a mechanic in Bershad. From 1977 he was an activist of Komsomol (LKSMU) and by 1985 became a secretary of the Central Committee of LKSMU.
