Krisia Marinova Todorova ( bg, Крисия Маринова Тодорова, born 1 June 2004) is a Bulgarian singer, composer and songwriter. Along with Ignatov Brothers, she represented Bulgaria at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2014 in Malta with her song " Planet of the Children". They finished in second place, however they won the press voting. Svetoslav Todorov ( bg, Светослав Тодоров; born 30 August 1978) is a former Bulgarian international footballer. He played as a forward. Todorov is the all-time top scorer for Litex Lovech in the Bulgarian A Football Group. Club career Early career After being part of the youth system since the age of 6, Todorov began his career at Bulgarian First Division club Dobrudzha Dobrich in 1996–97, scoring twice in twelve appearances. He then joined Second Division champions Litex Lovech where he scored 34 goals in 70 league games over four seasons (two of them title winning). Tzvetan Todorov (; ; bg, Цветан Тодоров; 1 March 1939 – 7 February 2017) was a Bulgarian- French historian, philosopher, structuralist literary critic, sociologist and essayist. He was the author of many books and essays, which have had a significant influence in anthropology, sociology, semiotics, literary theory, intellectual history and culture theory. Early life Tzvetan Todorov was born on 1 March 1939 in Sofia, Bulgaria. He earned an M.A. in philology at the University of Sofia in 1963. He enrolled at the University of Paris to do his doctorat de troisième cycle (equivalent to the Ph.D.) in 1966 and his doctorat ès lettres in 1970. Career Todorov was appointed to his post as a director of research at the French Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique in 1968. Nikolay Todorov ( bg, Николай Тодоров; born 24 August 1996) is a Bulgarian footballer who plays as a centre-forward for Dunfermline Athletic. Todorov is a Bulgaria U21 international. Known for his physical presence, good in either box in defence or attack; a powerful player and very good in the air; good with both feet. Nikolai Todorov Todorov ( bg, Николай Тодоров Тодоров) (June 6, 1921 – August 27, 2003) was a Bulgarian historian. In 1990, he briefly served as acting president of Bulgaria. Life and career Todorov was born in Varna and, as he noted himself, he was of Greek descent. Todorov was inspired to go into politics after the trial of Traycho Kostov, whom he had shared a prison cell with during World War II. After a distinguished academic career, which included a position at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, he joined the Bulgarian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. He would later serve as the Bulgarian representative to UNESCO and the Bulgarian Ambassador to Greece (1978–1983). Following Bulgaria's departure from Communism, Todorov became Speaker of the National Assembly of Bulgaria, leading him to serve as acting president. Serafim Simeonov Todorov ( bg, Серафим Симеонов Тодоров; born 6 July 1969) is a former Bulgarian Olympic amateur boxer. He won three consecutive gold medals at both the World and European Championships, and silver at the 1996 Olympics. He is the last boxer to defeat Floyd Mayweather Jr., albeit via a highly controversial decision, who later went on to become one of the all-time greats in professional boxing. Petko Iurdanov Todorov (Elena, September 26, 1879 – February 14, 1916, Château-d'Œx) was a Bulgarian writer, journalist, dramatist, poet and critic. He is cited as the originator of the Romantic short story in Bulgaria although this is true only for his earlier texts because he soon progressed to deeper and newer psychological observations and experimental techniques such as interior monologue. As part of the intellectual circle ‘Misal’ (''Thought'') he worked along some of the greatest Bulgarian writers of the late 19th and early 20th century, such as Pencho Slaveykov and Peyo Yavorov who were his close friends. Nayden Todorov ( Bulgarian: Найден Тодоров; born Plovdiv 1974) is a Bulgarian conductor. Biography Todorov was born on 8 April 1974 in Plovdiv. In 1993 he graduated from the Dobrin Petkov National School of Music in Plovdiv in the piano class of Darina Kantardzhieva and trumpet class of Lilia Kovacheva-Toporcheva.
