"Todo Mi Corazón" (English: ''All My Heart'') is a ballad written by Venezuelan singer-songwriter Ilan Chester and performed by Mexican singer Yuri on her 11th studio album ''Soy Libre'' (1991). It was released as the second single from the album and peaked at number No. 5 on the Hot Latin Songs chart in the US. A music video for the song was filmed and features Puerto Rican singer Ricky Martin. The music video was nominated in the Latin field for Best Female Artist at the 1991 ''Billboard'' Music Video Awards. Chester recorded his own rendition of the song on his album studio ''Un Mundo Mejor'' (1992). It was later covered by American salsa band Dark Latin Groove (DLG) on their 1996 self-titled debut studio album. Their version became their second No. 1 song on the Tropical Airplay chart in the US. Yuri (Mexican Singer)
Yuridia Valenzuela Canseco, commonly known as Yuri, (born, 6 January 1964) is a Mexican singer, actress and television host. Yuri began her career as a teenage singer in her native country. In 1978 she released her first album titled '' Tú Iluminas mi Vida''. She gained recognition as a result of her participation in the Oti Festival in 1980. In the 1980s and early 1990s, Yuri established herself as one of the most popular pop music singers in Mexico and Latin America. Her vocal quality and versatility allow her to be incorporated into other musical genres, ranging from pop to dance, ranchera and tropical music genres. Dark Latin Groove (DLG) is a salsa band that mixes salsa, reggae and hip-hop. The group was brought together in New York by producer Sergio George (who also signed them to his record company Sir George Records) and included Huey Dunbar, Fragancia, and James "Da Barba" de Jesus. Beginnings Looking for vocalists, Sergio George discovered within the salsa club scenes both Huey Dunbar and James "Da Barba" de Jesus. De Jesus had previously been a backup singer for both Tito Nieves and Sistah Souljah.
