Todd Thicke is a Canadian television writer and producer most known for his work as the executive producer and head writer of ''America's Funniest Home Videos'' since the show's premiere in 1989. Biography Before moving to Los Angeles from Toronto in 1982, Thicke studied English literature at the University of Western Ontario in London and at York University in Toronto. ''Candid Camera'' is a popular and long-running American hidden camera reality television series. Versions of the show appeared on television from 1948 until 2014. Originally created and produced by Allen Funt, it often featured practical jokes, and initially began on radio as ''The Candid Microphone'' on June 28, 1947.
