Todd Elton
Todd Elton (born 29 April 1993) is a former professional Australian rules footballer who played for the Richmond Football Club in the Australian Football League (AFL). Junior football Elton played junior football for three clubs; Tyabb, Somerville and the Frankston Dolphins. He played TAC Cup football for the Dandenong Stingrays in 2011 and represented both Victoria Metro and Victoria Country at national championships in his youth. In 2011 Elton was one of 30 players from around the country selected to be a part of the 2011 AIS/AFL academy program. As part of the program, Elton spent time training with the Carlton Football Club in 2011. Elton attended high school at Frankston High School. AFL career Elton was drafted by Richmond with the club's second pick and 26th selection overall in the 2011 AFL Draft. Dandenong Stingrays
The Dandenong Southern Stingrays are an Australian rules football team in the NAB League, the Victorian statewide under-18s competition. 1992 saw the birth of the Southern Stingrays, developed under the leadership of Steve Kennedy (Regional Manager) and Ron Roach (Promotions Manager) with its home base located at Ben Kavanagh Reserve, Mordialloc, Victoria, Mordialloc. The side is coached in the inaugural year by Peter Russo. In 1995 the club moved from Mordialloc to Dandenong, Victoria, Dandenong and it also changed its name to the Dandenong Southern Stingrays. The club is currently under the leadership of Darren Flanigan (Region Talent Manager) and Matthew Crozier (Female Talent Coordinator) with the home base located at Shepley Oval, Dandenong. Victorian Football League
The Victorian Football League (VFL) is an Australian rules football league in Australia serving as one of the second-tier regional semi-professional competitions which sit underneath the fully professional Australian Football League (AFL). It includes teams from clubs based in the eastern states of Australia: Victoria, New South Wales and Queensland, and includes reserves teams for the east coast AFL clubs. The league evolved from the former Victorian Football Association (VFA), and it has been known by its current name since 1996.
