Tobias Visee
Tobias Visee (born 21 January 1991) is a Dutch cricketer. He made his Twenty20 International (T20I) debut for the Netherlands against Nepal on 1 July 2015. He made his List A debut against the United Arab Emirates on 19 July 2017. He made his first-class debut for the Netherlands in the 2015–17 ICC Intercontinental Cup on 15 August 2017. In June 2019, he was named in the Netherlands' One Day International (ODI) squad for their series against Zimbabwe. He made his ODI debut for the Netherlands against Zimbabwe on 19 June 2019. In June 2019, he was selected to play for the Vancouver Knights franchise team in the 2019 Global T20 Canada tournament. In July 2019, he was selected to play for the Amsterdam Knights in the inaugural edition of the Euro T20 Slam cricket tournament. However, the following month the tournament was cancelled. 2019 Global T20 Canada
The 2019 Global T20 Canada was the second edition of the Global T20 Canada, a 20-over professional cricket tournament, played at the CAA Centre, Brampton, Ontario. It started on 25 July 2019, and concluded with the final on 11 August 2019. It was slightly later in the calendar than the previous tournament, to avoid clashing with the 2019 Cricket World Cup. Vancouver Knights are the defending champions. A new team named New York Legends were announced to replace Cricket West Indies B Team. However, the idea was later cancelled, and the Brampton Wolves were named as the sixth franchise team in June 2019. On 26 July 2019, the start of the match between Montreal Tigers and Winnipeg Hawks was delayed by 90 minutes due to a bomb threat, when a suspicious package was found in the venue. 2021 ICC Men's T20 World Cup
The 2021 ICC Men's T20 World Cup was the seventh ICC Men's T20 World Cup tournament, with the matches played in the United Arab Emirates and Oman from 17 October to 14 November 2021. The West Indies were the defending champions, but were eventually eliminated in the Super 12 stage. Originally the event was scheduled to be held in Australia from 18 October to 15 November 2020, but in July 2020, the International Cricket Council (ICC) confirmed that this tournament had been postponed, due to the COVID-19 pandemic. In August 2020, the ICC confirmed that India would host the 2021 tournament as planned, with Australia being named as the host for the succeeding 2022 tournament. 2019 ICC T20 World Cup Qualifier
The 2019 ICC Men's T20 World Cup Qualifier was a cricket tournament held during October and November 2019 in the United Arab Emirates to determine which teams would qualify for the 2021 ICC Men's T20 World Cup tournament. The six teams finishing highest in the qualifier tournament joined Sri Lanka and Bangladesh in the first group stage of the 2020 ICC Men's T20 World Cup. The tournament formed part of the ICC T20 World Cup Qualifier series, with the Netherlands winning the final. In April 2018, the International Cricket Council (ICC) granted full international status to Twenty20 men's matches played between member sides from 1 January 2019 onwards. The Euro T20 Slam is a planned professional Twenty20 cricket league. The first edition of the tournament was initially scheduled to start in August 2019, with matches to be held in Ireland, Scotland and the Netherlands. It's launch has been postponed on several occasions due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic.
