Nikos Tsiforos ( el, Νίκος Τσιφόρος; 27 August 1912 – 6 August 1970) was a Greek humorist, screenwriter, and film director. He had more than 60 film scripts to his credit between 1948 and 1970. He further directed 17 films between 1948 and 1961. Biography He was born in Alexandria, Egypt, in 1912; two years later, his family was permanently resettled in Athens. From age eleven to his death, Nikos Tsiforos had been writing with gusto. In 1938, he wrote his first play, performed in an outdoors theatre in Freattyda; although his first effort did not quite succeed, young Nikos was not disappointed. He went on to earn a degree in Law, and work, for two years, at the Election Supervision Council. He soon resigned to travel the seas. Kostas Hatzichristos or Costas Hajihristos ( el, Κώστας Χατζηχρήστος; 1921 – October 3, 2001) was a Greek actor. Biography He was born in Thessaloniki, Greece, to a large family of thirteen members, he was the eleventh child. His parents were from Constantinople (today Istanbul), and they were initially relocated to Kavala, moved to Thessaloniki thereafter, and later moved to the northern Athens suburb of Pagkrati. The young Kostas studied initially at the Sergeants Major Military School of Syros and finished his studies in the Kavala. He worked in the variety theatre ''Missouri'' in Piraeus and with the Nitsa Gaitanaki company where he played in ''The Grouch'' () by Dimitris Psathas. Vasilis Avlonitis ( el, Βασίλης Αυλωνίτης; 1 January 1904 – 10 March 1970) was one of the most famous old-school Greek comedians. He performed in numerous films and stage productions in the mid to late 20th century. Vasilis Avlonitis is best known for his collaboration in films with Georgia Vasiliadou; he usually played her husband, brother or neighbour. Together they would cause laugh since he portrays the fat guy and she would be the ugly funny lady having problems with him. They would get calm at the end of the film, by resolving their arguments and/or marrying each other. Dimitris Nikolaidis ( el, Δημήτρης Νικολαΐδης; 1922 – 21 January 1993) was a Greek actor. Career He was born in 1922 in Asia Minor and died in January 1993. His journey of life began on a ship that headed from Constantinople (now Istanbul) to Piraeus, between them two youngsters, Eftalia and Nikos. His family moved to Greece to escape the Turkish raids. During his transfer trip, his father got sick. The family settled in Athens as the father's sickness did not retreat (the problem was mainly genetic as from the father's organism that shook an enzyme, it cleaned the blood without knowing that revived the body).
