Cecilia Tkaczyk
Cecilia F. Tkaczyk (born December 18, 1961) is an American politician who served as a member of the New York State Senate for the New York's 46th State Senate district, 46th district. She was elected to the Senate as a member of the Democratic Party (United States), Democratic Party and was sworn in on January 23, 2013. Tkaczyk was the Democratic nominee in a district that she claimed had been gerrymandered for her opponent, New York State Assembly, State Assemblyman George Amedore. The district stretches from Amsterdam, New York, Amsterdam to Kingston, New York, Kingston. She led Amedore on election night, but legal action by Amedore forced a judge to monitor the counting of 6,000 provisional and absentee ballots. The judge threw out 450 votes, enough to give Amedore a 37-vote lead. Amedore was certified as the winner and filed his oath of office in January. The Ghost Inside, formerly known as A Dying Dream, is an American metalcore band from Los Angeles, California, formed in 2004. The band currently consists of vocalist Jonathan Vigil, guitarists Zach Johnson and Chris Davis, bassist Jim Riley and drummer Andrew Tkaczyk. They have released one EP and five studio albums, with their latest, '' The Ghost Inside'', released on June 5, 2020 via Epitaph Records as a return from their hiatus. Kombi is a Polish musical band from Poland, founded in 1969 in Gdańsk by Sławomir Łosowski. In the beginning, the group played mostly experimental, jazz music. In second half of the 1970s they turned into funk rock, later their style turned towards synth-pop. They used such musical equipment as Commodore 64 as a MIDI sequencer, Prophet 5, Yamaha DX-7 synthesizer, Simmons SDS-V electronic drum kit and Roland TR-808 drum machine. The band was known for its characteristic sound, based on state-of-the-art electronic instruments programmed (and often modified) by Łosowski, distinctive vocals and guitar playing by Skawiński and Tkaczyk's bass slapping style. The Analogs are a Polish street punk band. They originated in Szczecin, and are quite successful on the local and international punk rock scene. The band is widely regarded for making street punk music popular in Poland. Although they used to claim to be apolitical, The Analogs have always been completely committed to anti-fascism and eventually have started referring to themselves as "100% leftie". They have performed alongside influential ska artist Roy Ellis and recognise the multi-cultural roots of the skinhead subculture.
