Vi Ska Vinna!
Vi ska vinna! was written in 2001 by Daniel Bäckström, Stefan Enberg, Marko Kristian Lehtosalo ("Markoolio") and Hans Schumacher and performed by Markoolio together with the band Excellence. It was the fight song for Sweden during the 2002 Olympic Winter Games in Salt Lake City, Utah, United States. The song appeared on Markoolio's 2001 studio album '' Tjock och lycklig'' and was released as a single on 28 January 2002, peaking at number three on the Swedish Singles Chart. The song received a Svensktoppen test on 9 February 2002 but failed to enter chart. The single version featured rewritten refrain lyrics, replacing "Vi ska vinna, vi ska ta dom, vi ska göra köttfärs av dom" ("we'll win, we'll get them, we'll make ground meat out of them") with "Vi ska vinna, vi ska ta dom, vi ska göra losers av dom" ("we'll win, we'll get them, we'll make losers out of them") following the September 11 attacks of 2001 in the United States. Karl Fredrik Virtanen (born 15 November 1971 in Motala, Östergötland County) is a Sweden-Finnish journalist and former columnist for the Swedish newspaper ''Aftonbladet'' and the host for the talk show '' Studio Virtanen'' on Swedish TV8. He has also hosted radio shows for Sveriges Radio. For ''Aftonbladet'', he was the New York City correspondent, contributing weekly columns about life in the city. Magnus Hedman
Magnus Carl Hedman (; born 19 March 1973) is a Swedish former professional footballer who played as a goalkeeper. Beginning his career with AIK in 1990, he went on play in the English Premier League, Scottish Premier League, and Italian Serie A before retiring in 2005. Dan Martin Nataniel Dahlin (born 16 April 1968) is a Swedish former professional footballer who played as a striker. In his prime, he was considered one of the world's best strikers. Excellence was a Swedish pop girl group from 2001 created through the TV programme Popstars on Kanal 5. The group scored a number one album on the Swedish Charts, as well as five top 10 singles, and entered Melodifestivalen 2002. Marko Kristian "Markoolio" Lehtosalo (born 1 January 1975 in Lahti, Finland) is a Swedish-Finnish multi-platinum selling recording artist, singer, musician, songwriter, actor, and comedian. The Boppers
The Boppers are a Swedish band formed in 1977 who found fame with cover versions of 1950s and 1960s songs. History The band was formed by two brothers, Michel and Peter Jezewski (then 22 and 20 years old) and Ville and Ingemar Wallén (then 19 and 22 years old respectively), as well as their friends Mats Lagerwall (then 20 years old) and Lasse Westerberg (then 18 years old).
