Oxberg is a minor locality in Mora Municipality, Sweden. It had 97 inhabitants in 2010. Vasaloppet goes through Oxberg. Elin Ek (cross-country Skier)
Elin Ek, (born 31 August 1973 in By, Sweden), is a Swedish cross-country skier. She participated at the 1998 Olympic Winter Games in Nagano, the 2002 Olympic Winter Games in Salt Lake City and the 2006 Olympic Winter Games in Turin. Elin won the Tjejvasan in 1999 and 2006. and the Vasaloppet main women's event in 2007. She also won the women's Worldloppet The Worldloppet Ski Federation is a federation of long distance cross-country skiing events whose aim is to promote cross-country skiing through ski races. Bente Martinsen
Bente Skari, née Martinsen, (born 10 September 1972) is a Norwegian former cross-country skier. She is one of the most successful cross-country skiers ever. Career She won her first Olympic medals in 1998, and won her first gold medal in the 2002 Winter Olympics, coming from behind to beat the favourites Olga Danilova and Julija Tchepalova in the last kilometers of the 10 km classical event. She also won a bronze medal in 30 km classical as well as a silver medal in the relay. Additionally, she won five gold medals (5 km: 1999, 10 km: 2001, 2003, and 15 km: 2001, 2003) from the FIS Nordic World Ski Championships, as well as two silver (4 × 5 km relay: 1997, 2001) medals. Kerrin Petty
Kerrin Petty-Nilsson (born 6 January 1970 in Townsend, Vermont, United States), is a US-Swedish cross-country skier. After competing on the cross-country ski team at the University of Vermont, she represented the United States during the 1994 Olympic Winter Games in Lillehammer and in Nagano in 1998. She won the 1998 women's main competition of Vasaloppet. and the unofficial women's competitions in 1994 and 1996. In 1996, she won the Swedish women's 30 kilometers national championship. and in 1996 and 1997, she won Tjejvasan.
