Tiê Gasparinetti Biral, simply known as Tiê (born March 17, 1980, in São Paulo), is a Brazilian singer-songwriter. Life and career The granddaughter of the actress Vida Alves, Tiê approached music in her high school years, when she founded a band and won an award in a student music competition in 1997. The turning point came when she was noticed by singer Toquinho while performing at Café Brechó, a bar-restaurant next to the MTV studios where he was recording an album. After having joined Toquinho on tour for two years, Tiê began to prepare her own repertoire, composing her own songs and learning to play the guitar. After releasing an EP in 2007 in collaboration with musician Dudu Tsuda, she made her solo recording debut in 2009, with the album ''Sweet Jardim''. For this album Tiê was nominated in the MPB category at the MTV Video Music Brasil. "La notte" () is a song by Italian singer Arisa. It was written by Giuseppe Anastasi and produced by Mauro Pagani. It was released by Warner Music Italy on 15 February 2012 as the lead single from her third studio album '' Amami''. The song was Arisa's entry for the Sanremo Music Festival 2012, where it placed second in the grand final. "La notte" topped the FIMI Singles Chart and achieved four platinum certifications in Italy. The MTV Video Music Brasil awards (originally Video Music Awards Brasil and more commonly known as VMB), were MTV Brasil's annual award ceremony, established in 1995. MTV viewers picked the winners for most categories since 2001. Unlike in the MTV Video Music Awards, the most important category at the MTV Video Music Brazil was the Viewer's Choice, not the Video of the Year; both of these categories merged in 2005. Vida Amélia Guedes Alves (April 15, 1928 – January 3, 2017) was a Brazilian actress and pioneer of early Brazilian television whose career spanned more than seventy years. In 1951, Alves made history when she and actor Walter Forster performed the first on-screen kiss ever broadcast on Brazilian television on the early telenovela series, '' Sua Vida Me Pertence''. In 1963, Alves made television history once again by sharing the first gay kiss shown on Brazilian television with actress Geórgia Gomide on the teleteatro show, ''TV de Vanguarda''. Jorge Abner Drexler Prada (born September 21, 1964) is a Uruguayan musician and actor. In 2004, Drexler won wide acclaim after becoming the first Uruguayan to win an Academy Award, which he won for composing the song " Al Otro Lado del Río" from '' The Motorcycle Diaries''.
