''Tiurida'' (meaning "Glory") is the fifth studio album by the German Viking metal band Falkenbach, released in January 2011 via Napalm Records. It was recorded with the same session musicians as the previous two Falkenbach records, Ok nefna tysvar Ty (2003) and Heralding - The Fireblade (2005). It was released as a jewelcase, digipack, deluxe limited edition (containing the digipack plus a Falkenbach logo pendant), vinyl (in three variants - black, golden and white vinyl - and with different cover artwork) and download. ''Asa'' is the sixth studio album by the German Viking metal band Falkenbach. It was released in 2013 on Prophecy Productions. Reception Yvonne Duchateau of ''Sonic Seducer'', Markus Endres of ''Metal.de'' and Filip Van Muylem of Peek-a-Boo Magazine commented that the album combines stylistic elements from Falkenbach's entire career. Duchateau wrote that what is new is the presence of more quiet songs with clear vocals, such as "Eweroun" and "Bluot fuër bluot", which gives a more immediate impression; Endres wrote that " this tension between Nordic folklore with acoustic guitars and clear vocals, Pagan / Black Metal with sawing riffs, melodic keyboards and harsh voice, ''Asa'' comes alive". Napalm Records is an Austrian independent record label focused on heavy metal and hard rock. Christophe Szpajdel (; born 29 September 1970) is a Belgian-born international calligraphist and illustrator, principally known for designing band logos. Life Szpajdel was born on 29 September 1970 in Gembloux, Namur, Belgium, and grew up in Louvain-la-Neuve, Walloon Brabant, Belgium. His parents are of Polish origin but immigrated to Belgium before he was born. He grew up speaking Polish and French, and eventually learned English, German, Dutch, Italian, Portuguese and Spanish. Szpajdel began drawing at the age of 3 when he drew a praying mantis while vacationing with his parents in the south of France. From 1981 to 1989, he attended the Institut Saint-Jean Baptiste, a Catholic primary school in Wavre, Walloon Brabant, Belgium.
