Tito Stagno (4 January 1930 – 1 February 2022) was an Italian journalist, television writer and presenter. Life and career Born in Cagliari, Sardinia, Stagno started his career as a sports commentator in Radio Cagliari and as a reporter in Radiosera.Aldo Grasso, Massimo Scaglioni. "Stagno, Tito". Starting from 1956 he specialized as a play-by-play commentator, covering sport, political and space events. He is best known in his home country as the commentator of the 1969 Moon landing. Stagno was also a television writer of documentaries and sport programs. ''Radiocorriere TV'' (since 1954), formerly ''Radiocorriere'' (1930–1954) and ''Radio Orario'' (1925–1930), is an Italian-language listings magazine, with weekly print editions published in Italy between 1925 and 1995 under the press of RAI (formerly URI). It rebooted under publisher RCC Edizioni and owner Rai Trade with print editions from 1999–2008, then closed due to poor sales and reopened as an online magazine in 2012. Since 1995 it has also had occasional special-edition print runs under various publishers.
