Titancon
TitanCon is a convention held annually in Belfast. It began when different groups including the Brotherhood Without Banners (BWB), who wanted a Game of Thrones fan convention in Belfast and The Other Ones, a Belfast SF/F society who wanted a science fiction and fantasy convention in Belfast. Working with Logan Bruce from Studio NI, Arkham Gaming Centre and TableTopNorth, the groups began their collaboration in Octocon 2010 in Dublin. History George RR Martin was the Guest of Honour at Octocon in Dublin in 2010. Game of Thrones had begun filming using Northern Ireland as one of the locations of the TV series. A previous gathering of GoT fans, called the Moot had been held in 2009 and a second one, Moot 2, planned to coincide with Martin's visit to Ireland. Jo Zebedee
Jo Zebedee (born 1971), is a Northern Irish science fiction and fantasy writer, based in Carrickfergus near Belfast. She attended Victoria Primary School and Carrickfergus Grammar School before completing a degree in English Literature. Zebedee has been chairperson for Women Aloud NI. Zebedee also works for her own management consultancy and for the Crescent Arts Centre where she runs creative writing classes. She is also a mentor with the Irish Writers' Centre. Zebedee was a guest of the Belfast Book festival and the C. S. Lewis festival. She was a guest for Titancon, the main Northern Ireland convention, and chair for the event in 2020. Elliot Grove
Elliot Grove is a Canadian-born film producer who founded both the Raindance Film Festival in 1993 and the British Independent Film Awards in 1998. Biography Despite being unable to watch TV or films until his early teens due to the constraints of his Mennonite background, Grove was curious about art and film. He, thus, followed up formal art school training at Central Technical School in Toronto with a series of jobs behind the scenes in the film industry. Michael Stuart
Michael Stuart (born January 13, 1975) is an American salsa singer, songwriter and actor. Early years Stuart was born in New York City, to Puerto Rican parents who settled in the 1960s after moving from Puerto Rico. There Stuart received his primary and secondary education. He was musically influenced by his uncle Israel "Timbalero" Stuart. Stuart grew up listening to hip hop and rock music. He grew to love many kinds of music, especially Latin music.
