Tishreen SC
Tishreen Sports Club ( ar, نادي تشرين الرياضي) is a Syrian professional football club based in Latakia. The club was founded in 1947 and currently competes in the Syrian Premier League. Its home ground is Al-Assad Stadium. Tishreen is the most successful and respected Syrian football club today, winning five league titles. History In 1946, Al-Sahel Club was the first officially licensed club in Lattakia, and it was necessary to have another club in order to enhance the spirit of competition and advance the level of sport in Lattakia. In 1947, the Al-Jalaa Club was founded. Al-Assad Stadium
Al-Assad Stadium ( ar, ملعب الأسد) is a multi-purpose stadium in Latakia, Syria. It is currently used mostly for football matches. The stadium has a capacity of 28,000 spectators. The stadium was opened in 1978 and completely renovated in 2004. It is home to Syrian Premier League football clubs Hutteen SC and Tishreen SC. The complex includes a nearby Olympic size swimming and diving pools and a hotel. 2021 AFC Cup
The 2021 AFC Cup was the 18th edition of the AFC Cup, Asia's secondary club football tournament organized by the Asian Football Confederation (AFC). The winners of the tournament automatically qualified for the 2022 AFC Champions League, entering the qualifying play-offs, if they had not qualified through their domestic performance. Lebanese club Al-Ahed, having won their first AFC Cup title in 2019, were the title holders, since the 2020 edition was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic in Asia after several group stage matches and the title was not awarded. Ali Bashmani
ʿAlī ibn Abī Ṭālib ( ar, عَلِيّ بْن أَبِي طَالِب; 600 – 661 CE) was the last of four Rightly Guided Caliphs to rule Islam (r. 656 – 661) immediately after the death of Muhammad, and he was the first Shia Imam. Muhammad ( ar, مُحَمَّد; 570 – 8 June 632 CE) was an Arab religious, social, and political leader and the founder of Islam. 2004–05 Arab Champions League
The 2004–05 Arab Champions League was the second edition of a new format called Arab Champions League replacing the former Arab Unified Club Championship. The teams represented Arab nations from Africa and Asia. Al-Ittihad Jeddah of Saudi Arabia won the final against CS Sfaxien of Tunisia. The competition's sponsor ART invited Iraq's Al-Talaba to compete. The Iraqi FA then nominated two other clubs ( Erbil SC and Najaf FC, leaders of the Northern and Southern groups when the domestic championship was abandoned in spring 2004) to participate alongside Al-Talaba, but UAFA only allowed Al-Talaba to compete. The Arab Club Champions Cup ( ar, كأس العرب للأندية الأبطال, french: Ligue des Champions Arabe) is an annual regional club football competition organised by the Union of Arab Football Associations (UAFA) and contested by elite clubs from the Arab world.
