Tirat Carmel
Tirat Carmel ( he, טִירַת כַּרְמֶל), or ''Tirat HaCarmel'', is a city in the Haifa District in Israel. In it had a population of . Throughout the ages, the site of the modern city was controlled by many people, including the Romans, the Ottoman, and the British. The modern city was established on the site of the Palestinian Arab village of al-Tira. The town of Tirat Carmel was officially declared a city in 1992. History Tirat Carmel is built on the ruins of the town of al-Tira. Crusaders called it ''St Yohan de Tire''. It was ruled by the Ottomans in late medieval and Renaissance times and was an agricultural area with wheat and goats and other farms.Khalidi, 1992, p.196. Marco Balbul ( he, מרקו בלבול; born 13 July 1967) is an Israeli football manager and former player. Early life Balbul was born in Tirat Carmel, Israel as the youngest child of Sephardic Jewish immigrant parents who immigrated from Egypt to Israel in 1950. Aged 9, he was accepted to the youth system of Maccabi Haifa. Playing career Babul made his first team debut for Maccabi Haifa in 1986. Spending most of his career at the club, he won several honours including the Israeli Premier League and the Israel State Cup. He made his Israel national team debut against Greece in 1990. He has 5 appearance in the UEFA Euro 1996 qualifying. Maurepas, Yvelines
Maurepas () is a commune in the Yvelines department in the Île-de-France region in north-central France. It is located in the western suburbs of Paris from the center. History Most ancient buildings are the ruins of the donjon, built in the 11th century and destroyed in 1425. There is also near St Sauveur's church, dating from the 15th century. In 768, the French king Pepin the Short offered the village of Maurepas (formerly spelled Malrepast) and its wooden keep to the Abbey of Saint-Denis.
