Tino Ellis
Tino Ellis (born October 15, 1997) is an American football cornerback for the Miami Dolphins of the National Football League (NFL). After playing college football at Maryland, he signed with the New Orleans Saints as an undrafted free agent in 2020. Early years Ellis attended DeMatha Catholic High School in Hyattsville, Maryland where he was a 4 star recruit, 2016 Under Armour All-American, and lead his school to three straight WCAC Championships. At DeMatha he was teammates of defensive end Chase Young and running back Anthony Mcfarland Jr. who were both selected in the 2020 NFL Draft. He committed to University of Maryland to play college football. Cornerback
A cornerback (CB) is a member of the defensive backfield or secondary in gridiron football. Cornerbacks cover receivers most of the time, but also blitz and defend against such offensive running plays as sweeps and reverses. They create turnovers through hard tackles, interceptions, and deflecting forward passes. Other members of the defensive backfield include strong and free safeties. The cornerback position requires speed, agility, strength, and the ability to make rapid sharp turns. Chase Young
Chase Young (born April 14, 1999) is an American football defensive end for the Washington Commanders of the National Football League (NFL). A native of Maryland, he played college football at Ohio State University for the Buckeyes. During his junior season in 2019, Young broke the school's single-season sack record with 16.5 and was named a unanimous All-American and the recipient of several defensive player of the year awards. He was also named the Big Ten Male Athlete of the Year and was a finalist for the Heisman Trophy, a rare accomplishment for a defensive player. The 2022 USFL Draft, also known as the 2022 USFL Player Selection Meeting, was the player selection process to fill the rosters of the eight teams for the 2022 USFL season. The draft was held on February 22–23, 2022, with results released through the USFL's social media channels. Structure The USFL player allocation process will be held in multiple phases, separated by position groups. The league will use a "snake" format in each phase, in which the draft order reversed with each round. The draft order will be shuffled for each phase as predetermined through lotteries.
