Tineg, officially the Municipality of Tineg ( ilo, Ili ti Tineg; tgl, Bayan ng Tineg), is a 2nd class municipality in the province of Abra, Philippines. According to the 2020 census, it has a population of 4,977 people. History On October 29, 2002, Mayor Clarence Benwaren was assassinated by a gunman named Edberto Jamoncio while he was attending a wedding ceremony in Calauan, Laguna. Geography is located at .
