Timothy Williams (born 1946) is a bilingual British author who has written six novels in English featuring Commissario Piero Trotti, a character critics have referred to as a personification of modern Italy. Williams' books include ''Black August'', which won a Crime Writers' Association award. His novels have been translated into French, Italian, Danish, Russian, Bulgarian, Polish, and Japanese. Williams' first French novel, ''Un autre soleil'', set in the Caribbean island of Guadeloupe, was published in Paris by Rivages in March 2011 and was published in English in New York City in April 2013 as ''Another Sun''. Williams was born in Walthamstow (Essex, now London) and attended Woodford Green Preparatory School, Chigwell School and St Andrews University. He has previously lived in France, Italy, and in Romania, where he worked for the British Council. Timothy Williams (born July 30, 1967) is an American actor and screenwriter. Career Williams was born in Richmond, Virginia. By the time he was a teenager, he had entered the world of live theater in New York City, winning parts in several plays that ran at Joseph Papp's Public Theater. It was there he performed in original plays with Fisher Stevens and Keith Gordon. He also appeared in productions at the New York Theater Ensemble with Daniel Stern and John Randolph, and wrote his own stage play, ''No Title (Yet)'', which had a run of performances at the Stella Adler Conservatory in the spring of 1983, directed by Ron Burrus. In December 1983, Williams moved to Los Angeles to seek television and film work. By 1985 he had landed guest roles on primetime series such as ''Cagney & Lacey'' and ''Simon & Simon'', and appeared in the TV movies ''Club Med'', ''Welcome Home, Bobby'' and Disney's ''Splash Too''. Timothy Williams (born 14 February 1966) is an English/Canadian composer, conductor, and orchestrator known for his film, television, and video game scores. A graduate of the National Film and Television School, Williams has won numerous awards and is best known for his work on the A24 film ''Pearl'', '' Finding You'', ''Brightburn'', ''Get Out'', ''Guardians of the Galaxy'', ''Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2'', ''Deadpool 2'' and Robert Duvall's '' Wild Horses.'' Colonel Timothy Shaler Williams (August 1, 1862 - June 3, 1930) was an American journalist, and later president of the Brooklyn Rapid Transit Company. Biography He was born on August 1, 1862, in Ithaca, New York, to Frances Henrietta Grant and Howard Cornelius Williams. He worked as a journalist for a New York City newspaper from 1884 to 1889. He was private secretary to two New York governors, David Bennett Hill and Roswell Pettibone Flower . He married Alice Williams on October 31, 1895. In 1895 he joined the Brooklyn Rapid Transit Company and was president from 1911 until his retirement in 1923.
