Timothy J. Downing (born March 27, 1979) is an American attorney and former politician who served as the United States Attorney for the United States District Court for the Western District of Oklahoma from 2019 to 2021. He represented the 42nd district in the Oklahoma House of Representatives as a Republican from 2016 to 2018. He currently serves as a judge on the Oklahoma Court of Civil Appeals. United States attorneys are officials of the U.S. Department of Justice who serve as the chief federal law enforcement officers in each of the 94 U.S. federal judicial districts.
