Cricket is a bat-and-ball game played between two teams of eleven players on a field at the centre of which is a pitch with a wicket at each end, each comprising two bails balanced on three stumps. 2016–17 Inter State Twenty-20 Tournament was a Twenty20 cricket tournament in India. This was the first edition of the tournament, with the top teams qualifying for the 2016–17 Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy.
